"Chhaap Tilak Sab Chheeni" is considered as Amir Khusro‘s most known Kalam which is basically a penned version of his imagination of devotion and the joy of oneness with the eternal one. This poetry is an epic example where an inherent middle eastern art form gets entangled with the Indic philology, custom and art a unique twist between the two artforms. The theme of the composition, being the absolute power of a mere glance from the Divine, is a central theme in sufi mystic literature.

(छाप तिलक सब छीनी रे मोसे नैना मिलाइके)
Baat agam keh dini re mose naina milaike
(बात अगम कह दीनी रे मोसे नैना मिलाइके)

Khusro ren suhaag ki
(खुसरो रेन सुहाग की)
Jo main jogi pi ke sang
(जो मैं जोगी पाई संग)

Khusrau nijaam ke bal bal jaiye
(खुसरो निजाम के बल बाल जाए)
Mohay Suhaagan keeni ray mosay naina milaikay
(मोहे सुहागन कीनी रे मोसे नैना मियालेके)

Bal bal jaaun mein toray rang rajwa
(बल बल जाने में तोरे रंग रजवा)
Apni see kar leeni ray mosay naina milaikay
(आपनी सी कर लीनी रे मोसे नैना मियालेके)
