This is a hidden gem located just 1 hour from Berlin! Spreewald is a region with beautiful nature and towns. We took a train to Lübbenau, from where we can easily walk to the Lehde district to see the 200 canals dotting the landscape. After that, we went to a larger city in the area called Cottbus. We came here on 30 November 2024 and the vibe was really warm and festive. The Christmas market, together with the beautiful canals, bridges, houses, and landscape, made me feel like I was in a wonderland.
