Ep 44 Norwegian Christmas Festival 2024

The 2025 Christmas Festival will be at Norway House, 3846 Meredith Dr., Fairfax, VA, December 5-7. Reservations are not needed for outdoor activities including the Nordic Cafe, lefse demos, Viking-era craft demos, and visiting the gentle fjord horse and the Norwegian lundehunds (Puffin Dog).

Indoors you'll find a wonderful selection of Nordic giftware, linens, books, cookware, Dale sweaters, jewelry and Norwegian foods including traditional baked goods, Nøkkelost and other cheeses, Freia and Nidar chocolates, fiskeboller, lefse, Solo drinks, Norwegian coffee, jams, marzipan and more.

Watch Lundehunds on national TV...NBC streams the National Dog Show, presented by Purina, Thanksgiving Day 12–2 p.m. EST, right after the parade. Haldis and Kristina Mazw are interviewed by NBC Sportscaster Mary Carillo and show in the Non-Sporting Group.
