Making Commissions - 2 different Table Bases - Forme Industrious

In this video I show two builds. The first being a stainless steel table made to the customer specification. I've never made anything out of stainless steel before. It's really nice to Tig weld! I did not make the top as the client is a Cabinet Maker and will be making the timber top out of Black Wattle.
The second build is another table base. This time the legs are made from 10 x 100mm Flat bar that I had rolled at an engineering shop as my small roller cannot handle this thickness. The design was outlined to me by the customer and I finalised the concept which was agreed to. Again the top will be fitted later. It will be made from Stone which will not be ready until February 2023 unfortunately.
These will be the last fabrication jobs I do from this my home workshop. In the New year we will be moving to our new workshop in the Atherton Tablelands, North Queensland Australia. I'm not looking forward to packing up my huge mess for the move!
