London Stationery Haul, Part 1: L. Cornelissen Historic Ink Recipes!

Last week I took a trip to London, UK where I visited a handful of local stationery shops, including L. Cornelissen & Son, an art supply and calligraphy dealer. I picked up two bottles of their historic ink series, inspired by historic ink recipes used by figures such as Sir Isaac Newton and Virginia Woolf. While these aren't necessarily inks I would use in fountain pens, since they contain organic components such as berries and oak galls in the recipe, they're fun to play around with using dip pens. The color shifting on the Newton ink is especially fun to watch.
