Sky News host Peta Credlin says the economy is in decline because Australia is becoming a “poorer country”.
“The cost-of-living crisis, exemplified by your power bills going up some 37 per cent over the past year, is just one symptom of an economy in decline,” Ms Credlin said.
“If you want to know why your bills are rising faster than your wages, why your kids can't afford to buy a house or start a family, and why everyone's mood seems to be getting worse, it's because – as a country – we are getting poorer, not richer.”
