ERUPTION Challenge - Tube Amp or Digital Modeler?!

Can you tell the difference between an Amp and a Modeler? What gives it away? At a recent Masterclass in the UK, I attempted to play Edward Van Halen's ERUPTION twice in a row. One time through my Fractal with a preset I created, the other plugged straight into a Marshall JCM 900 Studio amp with a 4x12 cab. The audio in this video includes mixed ambient camera mic audio from the Masterclass so it is not a sterile direct recording. Lets take a deep dive into how I analyze the nuances in the playing of Eruption and how I approach recreating the sound textures.
I've also incorporated feedback from comments posted to Instagram to spark some more interesting conversation and challenge you to guess which version is which.
While I didn't play Eruption note for note perfect, I did manage to get close to some of the most treacherous parts. There will never be any doubt that Edward Van Halen's brilliant guitar playing will continue to inspire millions of guitarists.
