The Four Knights biggest hit 'I Get So Lonely' also known as Oh Baby Mine reached #3 in the US and #5 in the UK.
The group formed in 1943 as the Southland Jubilee Singers, changing to The Four Knights in 1945. Later that year they appeared on the Arthur Godfrey radio show and signed to Decca, then to Coral and in 1951 to Capitol they had a small hit in 1951 'I Love The Sunshine Of Your Smile' #23 in the US.
Then came 'I Get So Lonely', they also occasionally accompanied Nat King Cole. They rejoined Coral in 1957 but by the mid 1960's had all but left the music industry
