Tasting King of Bitters & Blue Berries Cherry Tomato 11 August 2025

After watering much of the garden I decided to have a look around. I figured it's about time I taste this King of Bitters, which is an herb I grew for the Planter Garden TV Herb Garden Challenge 2025. Mine never got much taller than a foot and a half though they're said to be able to grow to over I think 8 feet. But it's still alive so that's all I can ask for!

This isn't the first I've tasted the Blue Berries cherry tomato that I'm growing, but I think it's the first I tasted one ripe off the plant. Let me clarify that this is the first year I've grown these. That said, I read that one of the parent plants to this variety is Indigo Rose. I've grown Indigo Rose before, and while it is a beautiful plant, it was lacking in taste. I read that AFTER I bought these seeds. While they're still not the tastiest of cherry tomatoes they're better than the Indigo Rose.
