The concept of sustainability means a lot of different things, and presents various challenges for companies involved in the marketing and distribution of fresh fruits and vegetables. But it’s also something that creates potential opportunities to add value and sell more produce
To explore that potential, we invited three key industry players to discuss the role that sustainability plays in their business. Our guests were: Marc Peyres, commercial director of French fruit company Blue Whale; Elena Postolov Sanchez, international coordinator at Spanish wooden packaging federation Fedemco; and Duncan Jones, senior marketing manager at labelling company Sinclair.
