Lea Thompson & Christopher Lloyd on ‘Back to the Future’, Eric Stoltz, and Robert Zemeckis

What can I say about the Back to the Future trilogy that hasn’t been said? Like most of you, Robert Zemeckis’s Back to the Future is one of my favorite movies of all time and it’s one of those rare films that appeals to generations of people and it’ll still be a classic in fifty years. So when Universal asked me if I’d like to speak with Lea Thompson and Christopher Lloyd for the Back to the Future 30th Anniversary Trilogy Blu-ray/DVD which is now in stores, I probably answered yes faster than any other time in my life.

During the interview the two stars talked about the first read through with Eric Stoltz and his take on the material, what they “borrowed” from set, memorable moments from filming, if the Doc Brown cameo in A Million Ways to Die in the West is part of the official canon, what they remember most from collaborating with Robert Zemeckis, and more.
