In this video, we are going to learn all about Korean vowels. Here are all the Korean vowels you will learn:
ㅏ ㅓ ㅗ ㅜ ㅡ ㅣ ㅐ ㅔ
ㅑ ㅕ ㅛ ㅠ ㅒ ㅖ
ㅘ ㅝ ㅚ ㅟ ㅢ ㅙ ㅞ
Did you know all those vowels are made with dashes(ㅡ,ㅣ) and dots(·)? All those vowels are made by combining dashes and dots in many different ways!
Korean letters are made by combining consonants and vowels! So, learning what Korean vowels are and how they pronounce are key to successfully mastering your Korean skills! One thing I want to point out in this video is that we combined vowels that Korean people use without distinguishing their differences. For instance, there is ㅐ and ㅔ. When you pronounce ㅐ sound, your chin should go lower than ㅔ sound. Also, there are ㅞ, ㅙ, ㅚ sound. ㅞ is made by combining ㅜ and ㅔ, whereas ㅙ is formed by combining ㅗ and , and ㅚ is formed by combining ㅗ and ㅣ.
