A 12.5 km walk along the Ridgeway on Berkshire/Lamborn Downs in Oxfordshire. 1st March 2014.
Here the Ridgeway passes through the Vale of the White Horse in the Berkshire Downs. The Berkshire Downs are a range of chalk download hills, part of the North Wessex Downs area of outstanding natural beauty. (The western end of the downs are also known as the Lambourn Downs as they sit in Oxfordshire since a change of county boundary in 1974.)
