At a time when there is a drastic increase in depression and suicides amongst adolescents and youth in India, she describes how GRL (Generated Resources Learning) an experiential learning methodology created opportunities for equitable, empowering and enjoyable learning experiences in a diverse classroom.
Born in Bhavnagar in 1967, based in Ahmedabad (India), working in the field
of education with more than 20 years experience in teaching both adults and
children. Subjects taught include French, English Literature,
Theatre and Theory of Knowledge.Vast experience in teacher training at national and international level, journal-
ism, as a television presenter and script-writer for educational documentaries,
conducting workshops for parents, giving lectures and presentations on edu-
cational issues.Written and oral fluency in Hindi, English, Gujarati, French and oral fluency in Punjabi.
