Boat run through the Chicago Loop along the South and Main Branches of the Chicago River, in downtown Chicago, Illinois. Each Spring and Fall, the City of Chicago opens these bridges on selected days to allow the sailboats to move from the harbor to the lake in the Spring, and from the lake to return to the harbor during the Fall. I was able to capture all of the bridges beginning at Jackson St. and ending at Michigan Ave. It was easy to walk and keep up with the boats, as the boats have to wait for the bridges to open. A total of five boats were moving on this particular day, which was Wednesday June 7, 2023.
