Mobilized Russians have spent more than a year in the war and no one is going to let them go. Only the chosen could come back home after six months spent on the frontline. These are ex-convicts: murderers, rapists, and thieves. Having been pardoned by Putin, they again live among us.
Our documentary features the stories of two mothers. At first they spent years trying to find the murderers of their children and now they demand a just punishment for the criminals who were suddently granted freedom and money by the Russian state.
