On the third day of the Fourth International Vatican Conference, Pop sensation Katy Perry spoke to meditation teacher and Chief Executive Officer of David Lynch Foundation, Bob Roth as part of the Cura Foundation's endeavour to find means to accelerate healing among convalescents.
Their conversation went into how Transcendental Meditation (TM) has transformed her life, what it means to her coming from a family of orthodox christian ministers and how it is helping children from at risk populations recover from problems such as academic performance anxiety, bullying and emotional trauma and perform holistically up to their full potential at school.
Hollywood actor Orlando Bloom, who has acted in films such as the Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean and Troy, was also in attendance during the event.
Bob Roth has been a certified TM teacher for more than four decades and has taught celebrities such as Katy, Hugh Jackman, Jerry Seinfeld, Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres.
