This documentary is a part of my Master's of Arts in Communication capstone course at East Carolina University. The film takes a look at the millennial collegiate experience through the lens of Expectancy Violation Theory. It examines what millennials were socialized to believe about college, how that socialization formed their expectations, and what happened when their expectations were not met. It also takes a look at how these unmet expectations impacted Generation Z.
