The Japanese aesthetic philosophy wabi-sabi or the shade as the dimension that connects the melting of two different colors, the tones of grey that hold the essence of black and white is what inspired the Fall/Winter collection designed by Masataka Matsumura for Giuliano Fujiwara.

It's slim and minimal and played with layers in contrasting colors and fabrics.

A new material was the extra light denim, manufactured in Japan which produced a tweed effect with what looked like tiny drops of hand sprayed color.

He also collaborated with Simonetta Ravizza on fur items which included trousers, jackets with slim coats in grey Breit Persian and many shades that looked like a marble slab with two blousons in feather weight black or champagne kid.
