【園丁的前院】如何翻新青苔草地 Turn the moss lawn to a stone garden

前院有一塊地因為有大樹和電箱,幾年來草地怎麼養就是會長滿青苔和雜草,感覺非常的陰暗討厭,所以這個春天一鼓作氣就把草都剷除了吧!就像不好的感情,是真的不能勉強的.
又因為之前請工人做石頭花園時,他們把石塊都堆在木欄杆下,前幾個星期看起來還蠻美的,但後來發現草還是會慢慢長在石頭的細縫上,割草機根本也除不了.五郎是個有著神經完美主義的個性,所以也趁這次把那些暗藏在草地的石頭全挖出來,剛剛好來堆補我們新的石頭GARDEN.
之後整地再舖mulch,以後除草就簡單多了,整個草地可是煥然一新啊~


Our front lawn is North facing with large trees blocking direct sunlight, especially the area that the electrical box is on the lawn that is an eyesore. We did try to plant or even treat the grass, but nothing works for years. Finally we got an idea to redo it with the spare rocks we have in the yard. And that actually makes that area looks quiet modern and brighter now. It took us more than a week to finish the project, and we are really happy with the results.
