Come on an epic adventure with me and Jamie to discover Northamptonshire's oldest railway which only lasted from the year 1800 until 1805. It was owned by the Grand Junction Canal Company who at the time where building the Blisworth to Stoke Bruerne canal tunnel. Just to note this railway was before the time of steam engines and horses worked pulling carts which sat on L shaped rails, on stone cut blocks.
So much information loaded into one epic video and big special thank you to Irchester Narrow Gauge museum situated in Irchester Country park for the lead.
I hope you enjoy the video and subscribe to both PurpleVision / thekotch
