Mandi Powell is a Houston-based singer-songwriter whose blend of country, Americana, and folk reflects not just a style, but a way of life. Raised on a working horse farm and a proud fifth-generation Texan, Powell lives and breathes the authentic cowgirl lifestyle—early mornings, muddy boots, and a heart full of grit and grace. Her songs are steeped in the same honesty and strength that define the land she comes from.

From a young age, Powell felt at home both in the saddle and on the stage. She was writing poetry by 12, shaped by open skies, long trail rides, and the rhythm of a life lived close to the earth. She carries the rhythm of the ranch in her soul—the creak of saddle leather, the steady beat of hoofbeats, and the endless Texas sky above. Music became her second language—first through choir and school programs, and then through the guitar, which gave her a voice all her own.

Today, Powell is known across Southeast Texas for her heartfelt performances and songs that cut straight to the bone. Her powerful yet vulnerable vocals carry stories of love, loss, and perseverance, resonating with anyone who's ever worked hard, fallen down, and gotten back up again.

A true working-class musician, Mandi has played more than 150 shows a year for the past 15 years—from dusty dancehalls and roadside bars to festivals, listening rooms, and everything in between. Her relentless touring schedule speaks to her deep love for the craft and her strong connection with audiences who appreciate authenticity.

Influenced by icons like Reba McEntire, Miranda Lambert, and Lucinda Williams, Powell’s music combines lyrical storytelling with a soulful, rootsy delivery. Whether on a quiet stage or with a full band behind her, she brings authenticity, emotional depth, and a distinctly Texan fire.
