Alhamdulillah, honored to present at 23rd September, 2025 in the 35th International Symposium on Transport Phenomena (ISTP-35), Busan, South Korea.
My talk, “Influence of Air Nuclei Content on Vortex and Tip Vortex Cavitation,” addresses the role of dissolved oxygen concentration in governing cavitation inception, desinence, and hysteresis in vortex systems. The study was conducted on a NACA 16-020 hydrofoil at angles of attack of 9°, 12°, and 15°, across multiple dissolved oxygen levels (4, 6, 8, 10 ppm), with high-speed imaging used to capture vortex dynamics.
This work highlights the fundamental interplay between nuclei availability and cavitation behavior, with implications for hydrodynamic system design and cavitation control strategies.
