This is a test of remote operation of the club's satellite ground station. At the club radio room, we have a Windows computer running some Hamlib server programs. RotCtld will not properly talk to our RT-21 rotor controller...so we are using PsiRotator instead and it properly acts as a rotctld server. We are using Rigctld to serve the Icom 910H. In this video we are using TCPStreamer to send the audio...that isn't our long term plan (we plan on getting a newer radio with more capability) but it works great. On the remote computer we are using Gpredict through our VPN tunnel to connect to the hamlib server programs. Additionally we are viewing the satellite antenna system on an internal web server, through the VPN. The fact we can clearly hear ISS traffic at 0 elevation pointed at buildings shows how powerful the ISS radios are...regular AMSATs are not that strong of a signal. There is no PTT in this setup, so I did not attempt contact.
