Harihareshwar Temple, in Harihar, Karnataka.

It's a 4km detour from the Bengaluru Goa Highway. The temple was built by the Hoyasala dynasty in the 13th century

This temple is dedicated to synthesism of Hari ; Vishnu and Hara; Shiva.

A beautiful temple build in stone ahs stories of strength and survival to share. It has seen ups and downs , and was also destroyed by Tipu Sultan and the Shikhara was rebuilt by people using contemporary material.
