Taking Chances is a song featured in the fourth episode of the first season, Preggers. It is sung by Rachel Berry when she was tries out for the school musical Cabaret. During the audition, Sandy tells Sue about his plans to take Rachel away from New Directions with a song by Céline Dion, so they would fail in both Sectionals and Regionals. Rachel quickly signs up for auditions and gets the lead role. It was originally sung by Platinum Weird and covered by Céline Dion from her English-language studio album of the same name.
