Killing Floor 2: Hell on Earth Offices Solo Survivalist w/Patriarch

Hello everyone! I'm back with another solo video. This time, I revisit a classic in Killing Floor's history. Offices in Killing Floor 2 was remade by MixMakMax and Kill Master. Built from the ground up. It's identical to the original in everyway overhauling this classic map into the mainstream of Killing Floor 2. It's a true remake to a classic Killing Floor map.

Offices has been around since the series inception dating back to 2005 when Killing Floor started out as a mod for Unreal Tournament 2004. I wanted to pay tribute to an original map. I created an intro based off of the description in Killing Floor 1 and extended it adding to the realism of the map. With the use of the KF2 SDK, I was able to capture more advanced scenes using the tools in the engine like placing characters and props. It was a fun little project from start to finish. I used sound, music and graphical mods to enhance the experience to come closer to Killing Floor 1. I tried going for a grungy theme to fit the aesthetic of Killing Floor 2. Alpha variants, quarter pounds and E.D.A.Rs are removed from the run for better gameplay and be more inline with the map.

Survivalist
Out of all the perks I decided to play, I picked Survivalist. I haven't done a survivalist run in years so this run was perfect for it. I wanted to showcase Survivalist's adaptability and efficiency with the weapons I specifically chose for this run to give shine to this underrated perk. I used only KF1 weapons without having to perk swap every wave. Each wave and weapon I used required a different strategy. The weapons and the spots I choose to hold were key to succeeding and beating this unique challenge I set upon myself.

Offices:
I made some minor edits to the map. I swapped the trader to Patriarch and removed the dosh hold areas. They can be distracting during the wave and I never use them during a recorded run. But, the integrity of the map is the same. As for my experiences, offices was quite the challenge to overcome. It's tight and narrow hallways made the map claustrophobic. It was a struggle to hold the simplest areas. Kiting for long periods isn't possible because of the dense spawning. The most looming threat I had to face was the darkness with crawlers and stalkers. They're fast and can jump you if you aren't paying attention. The crawlers react to your flashlight which can be tricky to line up shots in a pinch. Stalkers can be difficult to locate during tense combat. Adding to the darkness of the map, I considered them the worst offenders of the entire run. Overall, it's a beautifully redesigned map that I had the pleasure of replaying.
