उत्तराखंड में कैलाश-मानसरोवर यात्रा मार्ग पर स्थित धारचूला एक ऐसा शहर है जिसे काली नदी ने भारत व नेपाल के बीच बाँट रखा है। काली नदी दो सौ से ज़्यादा साल से इन दो इलाक़ों के बीच सीमा का काम कर रही है। भारत के धारचूला से नेपाल के दार्चुला जाने को नदी पार करने के लिए पुल है जिससे दोनों देशों के लोग सहजता से एक-दूसरे के यहाँ आ-जा सकते हैं। एक सैर सीमा के दोनों तरफ़ की, देखिए इस वीडियो में।
On the Kailash-Mansarovar route in Uttarakhand lies the Dharchula town, which has been divided by Kali River between two countries- India and Nepal. In fact, Kali River plays the role of International Border between two countries since 1816. There is a Indo-Nepal friendship bridge, which is used by people from both countries to cross-over daily as if they are living in a same town. Interesting isn't it!
