Patch Adams Presents: Art

Wow, art. I love art. I have art hanging in my office, and around Susan’s house. And art books, I have a section of art books that I love to look at from time to time. I love going through my library and finding a book to read if I have the time. Or, perhaps a graphic novel and a joke book as bathroom readers.

A great play, a beautiful painting, or a wonderful song can undoubtedly raise the spirits. An exciting performance, painting, or song could give rise to ideas to explore, and new art waiting to be created. I see the role of art is to inspire and to inform. You can learn a lot about yourself, and the world, through art.
