The U-Type Submarine, known as the U-Type boat in English, was one of the most mysterious arms of World War II. Its most feared tactic was stealth attacks, often referred to as wolf-pack tactics. During the Atlantic battles of WWII, German U-Type submarines ruthlessly hunted Allied ships along the sea routes. In November 1942 alone, U-Type submarines sank 118 Allied ships, setting a record by sinking a total of 743,321 tons in a single month, inflicting immense losses on the Allies.
