Types of Glass Fuses
Fast-blow fuses: Blow instantly when the rated current is exceeded.
Slow-blow (time-delay) fuses: Can tolerate brief current surges; often have a thicker or coiled filament inside.
Both types can be checked with a multimeter
Continuity mode: Ideal for testing fuses. Beep = continuity (good).
Resistance mode (Ω): Also works. Good fuse = very low resistance (usually under 1 ohm).
