Today my sister and I witnessed history, as the Danish Prime Minister presented His Majesty King Frederik X to the nation 🥲❤️🇩🇰

It is an emotional ordeal for many of us.

His Majesty chose the motto:

“Forbundne, forpligtet, for kongeriget Danmark.”

It translates approximately to “Bound together, obliged, for the Kingdom of Denmark”.

The Danish monarchy is one of the oldest in the world. The Royal heritage can be traced back more than a thousand years 👑
