ECW’s Madeline Feierstein visited Clara Barton’s Washington, D.C. boarding house that was uncovered back in the 1990s. It was here that Barton ran the Missing Soldiers Office. The site is now run by the National Museum of Civil War Medicine.
*Correction: The kitchen graffiti itself dates to post-2015, but it historically reflects either Civil War or Reconstruction Era
