🏁🏆 Mighty Minis Racing at Silverstone 🏆🏁
An unfortunate incident in race one resulted in tumbling down the order from 2nd to 11th, fighting my way back to 8th I managed to creep inside the reverse grid and take pole position for race two.
With strong pace I knew I could hold my own at the front but this was the toughest grid of the year yet and I knew half the grid were capable of taking it away.
A fantastic launch off the line allowed me to lead from the start but the tow makes for great racing and allowed previous champion Stuart Coombes and current champion Olly Samways pass in no time at all. I had to remain ahead of Olly to be in with a shot at winning the championship so I made it only goal to take it back, and keep him behind. Watch for yourself to see just how hard that battle was, and how we involved half the grid because of it. The top 7 finishing within 1.5 seconds of each other, a real dash to the line!
