Our fourth and final My Moving Brain Community Connect event took place at the University of Galway, opening conversations about the importance of brain health, movement, and inclusivity in sport for people with brain conditions. Hosted with the Galway Sports Partnership, Epilepsy Ireland, and the Neurological Alliance of Ireland, and supported by the Galway Science and Technology Festival and the CÚRAM Research Ireland Centre, the event explored how physical activity supports brain and mental health while highlighting and addressing barriers to participation.
Featuring inspiring talks, lived experience stories, and hands-on sports and science activities, the day created a fun and inclusive space for everyone to get active, learn, and connect.
