Post Apocalyptic Survival Thriller Audiobook : Appalachian Run - Homeland Survival Quest
In the coal dust of Ash Ford, Ava Monroe leads Riley Hart, Mason Reed, Elias Crowe, and the girl June through rings of Runner and Stalker, only to uncover the slaver Richard Vale and an acoustic network called Siren Net that “counts” to herd the hordes. They cross the Blue Ridge Parkway, pry into the riddle of the even count and odd pulses, then reach Homefront where the vaccine is fake data and June is targeted as a key. Escaping through the Smokies, they seize a TVA dam to trigger a blackout, losing Elias behind a closing steel door. A new summons pulls them to Clingmans Dome, where Homeland proves to be a microwave bridge opening an evacuation window to Shenandoah. From Harpers Ferry to the Quiet Zone at Green Bank, they seize the Choir Core, expose Susquehanna files that used people to teach the Choir, then face a false Homeland that grabs the even channel and cuts Skywave. The Northern Corridor opens, yet a farther coordinate rings in an odd rhythm. Who hides a hand inside the count? Which side is Vale truly on? Where is Elias in the layers of signal? And who, in the end, does “do not trust the even count” really point to?
