The glue used is low temperature hot glue. It is possible to remove the glue by soaking the glued area in hot water. The glue will start to melt after a couple of minutes and the specimen can be removed.

**Please note that Crocoite contains lead chromate. Hands should be washed after handling this specimen and it should not be tasted or consumed.**
