Remember the fallen. Honor those who serve. Teach our children the value of freedom—these are the three pillars of Wreaths Across America.
A wreath laying ceremony for Wreaths Across America Day was held at the Guam Veterans Cemetery in Piti on Dec. 14 2024. Those who sponsored wreaths placed them on a veteran’s grave and were encouraged to say their name aloud to honor them and their sacrifice. The ceremony’s roots can be traced back to 1992 in Arlington Cemetery and is now commemorated at over 4,000 locations across the U.S. and abroad.
