In this video I pit the Zoom Sample Trak ST224 against the Akai MPC 2000XL by comparing the productions and beats made on these vintage sampling groove boxes. Both came out around the same time. The MPC 2000XL was the successor to the mighty MPC 3000 and the Zoom Sample Trak ST was known as the poor man's SP1200 because of it's crunchy sound, yet the Sample Trak can also almost match that MPC sound.
