Hello Viewers,
Something I've always wanted to see, a mainline steam engine. In recent years, N&W 611 had been reactivated and was operated for 5 weeks each fall along the Virginia Scenic Railroad on the Buckingham Branch's Richmond and Alleghany Subdivision. The clouds made it much easier to get more angles of 611 and some other traffic along the line. This was the second time I had ever shot a steam engine, the first being WM 1309 a day prior. It's always so striking seeing these machines up close and I hope that I'll be able to experience more steam in the future. But for now, enjoy!
