Industree Foundation, in partnership with USAID, has successfully implemented five years of the POWER project. The project impacted over 6,800 women producers aggregate in 38 self-owned enterprises from rural and marginalized communities across the three natural fiber-based value chains, i.e., Banana in Tamil Nadu, Bamboo in Karnataka, and Non-Timber Forest Produce (NTFP)/ biodegradable leaf plate in Odisha and mobilized 1,200 farmers in Karnataka.
2024 marked the successful completion of the USAID POWER project, which established 44 self-sustaining enterprises. Under POWER, these enterprises have created revenues of over 4-5 million USD.
