Materials Needed:
Paint Colours
Black
Paynes Grey
Blue
Titanium White
Any shade of black, or shade of dark blue are appropriate choices. Any white can be substitued, but Titatnium white is the most opaque.
If you do not have Payne's grey, you can eliminate that from your pallette and I will show you how to get a similar colour.
1 12x12 Canvas, Canvas Board, or Canvas Sheet (any size close will work), pre-painted solid black.
1 White chalk, watercolour pencil or light marking tool.
Brushes:
1.5-2” Wash Brush (to paint the black background)
1”-1.5” Angle
#12-16 pointed round
#1 Rigger,Dagger or Liner
When using descriptions of brushes, we mostly give you the width of the brush vs. the # on the shaft in most cases because the number reference used from company to company is not consistent.
