JW Marriott, Anaheim Resort opened in Anaheim, California in 2020. The hotel is located right at the Anaheim GardenWalk, another shopping and dining center, and it's just about a 15-minute walk from the theme parks. Besides enjoying complimentary breakfast, Hors d'oeuvres, and desserts daily in its Executive Lounge, we also watched the amazing Disney fireworks from the patio of this Executive Lounge. But, the fireworks were even more spectacular when we watched them inside the Disneyland theme park on another evening.

This award-winning high-end resort received numerous recognitions in recent years, including the 2024 Trip Advisor Travelers' Choice Hotel, and a Four Diamond Award from AAA in 2023 representing extensive amenities and a high degree of hospitality, service, and attention to detail. It has also been recognized by AAA for the highest standards of cleanliness in 2022.

Its Secret Butterfly Garden is an extension of the resort’s overall agricultural theme. This installation received the highest honor of Anaheim Beautiful’s 2020 Art in Public Places, the Julie Mayer Award. Guests download the Shimé app and venture to the JW Garden where three sculptured art installations come to life.
