http://www.draaiorgelmuseum.org/de-co... - Built in 1904 by Gavioli the special feature of this 89 Key organ is that the violin register can play alternately but also simultaneously with the clarinet register. Those registers are very special. In all other organs they are made of wood, but in this organ they are made of copper. The copper gives the organ a beautifully clear timbre. The front of the organ is not original but comes from another Gavioli organ. The five statues are among the most beautiful that were made for barrel organs between 1895 and 1915. The beautiful hood has unfortunately been lost, but fortunately woodcarver Franky Vlaeyminck has made a beautiful reconstruction, with the fortunately preserved center panel reinserted. Now trying to find funds to have the hood decorated!
