Come along for a ride up the scenic Chimney Peak Byway and Recreation Area. We'll drive between Hwy 178 and end our trip connecting with Kennedy Meadows road. Very few people visit this area, even though its very close to Ridgecrest CA, Surprisingly, many people in Ridgecrest don't even know it exists, probably because it's well hidden, near but off the beaten path. That's a shame because it is a beautiful area, great for hiking, picnicking, camping, fly-fishing (South Fork Kern), or whatever outdoor adventure interests you. So again, come along for a preview of only some of the things to see and do.
