Since I am left with the only option of storing my Malibu 23 LSV under a canopy beside my house, I have to remove the wakeboard racks and lower the tower every time. In doing so, my factory Outer Armor boat cover no longer fully covers my boat's interior. While this isn't a big deal if it happens every now and then, it becomes frustrating if you're constantly doing it. That's my favorite part about the Blue Sky Cover.
Designed in British Columbia, Canada, this cover features a number of practical features that you will appreciate if you are looking for a cover that has the following features:
You can use it for keeping your boat covered if it's moored, on a dock, in a garage or under a canopy
It can be stored onboard. Unlike the Outer Armor cover that’s massive when rolled up, the Blue Sky Cover easily rolls up and can be placed under a single seat
It offers protection from the sun; SPF30 to be precise. This is great if it is exposed to the elements by protecting your vinyl from the sun’s harmful rays
It’s crazy stretchy, allowing the cover to fit a number of boats. What I like the most about this is that I’m constantly tinkering on my boat, many times with the cover still on. This cover allows you to easily remove it while being incredibly light in case your head is bobbing around underneath
Two things to consider:
It cannot be on while the boat’s being towed. While there are straps that keep it from moving on the boat, towing with it on is not recommended
It’s not waterproof, but it’s highly breathable. It can get wet, and it will dry. If you’re looking for a waterproof cover, this isn’t it, but it is very light and lets air flow through
