Coloured bowl using centrifugal force technique. This bowl was inspired by Emma Cook aka "The Tiny Turner". Made from a 10" dia ash blank, finished with paste wax on the underside. Wide rim was sanded to 400 grit and sealed then coated with a black base coat. Jo Sonja paints where applied to center and then spun on the lathe to create the effect. Some colour shift flakes were applied to give it some sparkle. The top of the bowl was finished with two coats of clear lacquer.
