In this episode of the How to Like a Pro series, I break down how to prime like a pro — the products I trust, how I thin them, and the key prep steps that lay the groundwork for a flawless finish.
Here’s what I use:
🛠 Mr. Hobby Mr. Surfacer 500, 1000, and 1200 — depending on the job
🧪 Thinned with Mr. Color Leveling Thinner for that ultra-smooth flow
🎯 Applied through a 0.3mm airbrush at around 15–20 PSI
⚠️ I cover the surface prep, ideal thinning ratios, and common mistakes to avoid
