The BYD Han DM-i is a sophisticated plug-in hybrid sedan that blends electric and gasoline power for a versatile driving experience. At the heart of the vehicle is a 1.5-liter gasoline engine paired with electric motors and a sizable battery pack, allowing for impressive fuel efficiency and extended driving range. Inside, the car features a 15.6-inch multimedia touchscreen, offering a modern interface and infotainment experience. It also includes advanced features such as Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology, enabling the car to serve as a mobile power source for external devices.

Performance-wise, the Han DM-i and its sportier DM-p counterpart offer distinct capabilities. The DM-p version delivers a combined 490 horsepower through its dual electric motors, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds. Meanwhile, the DM-i model provides a peak power of 256 kW and a maximum torque of 545 N·m, achieving 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds. Both models benefit from an FSD variable damping suspension system and an aluminum alloy multi-link independent suspension setup, ensuring a smooth and controlled ride.

In terms of efficiency and practicality, the Han DM-i boasts a combined driving range of up to 1,300 kilometers, with a 76.9 kWh battery enabling up to 200 kilometers in pure electric mode. This makes it ideal for both daily commutes and long-distance travel. The vehicle's dimensions—measuring 4,995 mm in length, 1,910 mm in width, and 1,495 mm in height—contribute to a spacious and comfortable interior, while its curb weight ranges between 1,870 kg and 2,245 kg. Topping out at a speed of 185 km/h, the Han DM-i balances performance, efficiency, and technology in a premium hybrid package.
