S3:E2 - Big Girthy Male Brown Trout!

So this video has a few segments from my 1st time out to 1 of our favourite streams. II wanted to show you what type of weather we go out in…not always the smartest move.
And then I returned 2 days later thinking the water might be better, a little higher and less clear. You know, the water was great, clear and perhaps a tad higher.
I had been concerned about how the opening of the season had started. We were spoiled by last year’s start. I’d seen some big fish but nothing on the end of the line, and scenery does not a video make!
And then the big guy appeared. What a thrill.
Alfred and I have had the pleasure of seeing huge browns and we are very appreciative of those opportunities. I know people fish a lifetime and never catch or even see the browns that come our way. We are certainly not complacent about these fish as it only takes 1 fisherperson to catch and keep these fish and wipe out years of future fishing until the big guys find the stream again. So we will catch and release and get these beauties to you while we can. And Alfred hasn’t had the opportunity to test the waters this year, but soon I think.
So hope you like what Alfred has put together. Today’s fish was and still is magnificent. To see such big guys in the small streams we fish, is absolutely amazing and makes the heart pump a little faster and as I said, we are thankful to have that opportunity.
